The Boston bombing that occurred in mid April had thousands of people searching online for news updates and photos following the week of the Boston explosion all the way to the capture of the bombing suspects. Well wishers also posted on Facebook and social media with thoughts going out to those who died or were injured in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Anzac Day 2013

April searches again included the Anzac Day holiday with topics such as Anzac Day trading hours and Anzac Day services in Melbourne and Sydney being the most searched terms. Searches for Anzac Day dawn services were also popular.

The Voice Australia

The channel 9 show, The Voice 2013 has seen the return of judges Seal, Joel Madden and Delta Goodrem with the addition of Ricky Martin with Australians going online to read up on their favourite judges as well as watch the auditions. Searches for The Voice episodes and YouTube clips of favourite artists were also popular in particular contestant Harrison. Who do you think will win?

North Korea

The news that North Korea has threatened nuclear war on America and South Korea has been a talking point throughout April with searches increasing for the latest news both in Australia and America.

Games of Thrones

Games of Thrones TV series is continuing its high search volume from March into April. Searches included Games of Thrones torrent downloads, Pirate Bay movies and to watch on Project TV online for free.
