October top searches was dominated by Apple with new releases of products and software as well as the sad passing of Steve Jobs. Australians also searched strongly for upcoming festivals and events.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs has been one of the most searched people this month following his death on October 5th with many checking out his famous commencement speech at Stanford University.
With the launch of the new Apple iphone 4s searches related to price, features and iphone providers have been high. People were also searching downloads of the new ios5 update and the siri personal assistant feature.
