Recently there have been some changes to the display of search ads on Google, with updates to the formatting of ads as well as some additional features to Sponsored Links.

Longer Ad titles:
Launched in February 2011, Google AdWords now shows up to 60 characters in the title line of a search ad. This allows for better messaging in your ads, helping you to stand out in your search market.

Initial results are indicating increases in clickthru rates of around 10%.

Ad Extensions:
Sitelinks, Phone extensions and Local extensions are new ways to give you greater exposure in the search market, whilst giving users more options and information.
